When skull popularized

Thought the skull icon might be McQueen's unique symbol especially best known for their luxury cashmere scarves. Nonetheless I am sometimes surprised when accidentally encounter some fashionista stalking in the street with River Island or Bank's version or whatever's similar skull print around their neck floating in the breezy wind.
Until I knew about a jewellery maker when reading a Vogue issue in which "Vogue Spy" I conceived that skull no longer belongs to McQueen trademark as such jeweller as Theo Fennell, most of you know also pick up this image for their impeccable designs including ring and cufflink (apart from their very wide ranges of product: necklace, chain, earring, etc .. )  I am truly aware of how badly this things could fool me if I have sufficient credit in my bank account. Unfortunately it couldn't. :( Alrighty, Let's sneak a peek though.
First of all is probably the British craftsman portrait whose clients include Lady Gaga, Elton John, Naomi Campell, Victoria Beckham ..etc ..

Theo Fennell went to Eton College and worked for Edward Barnard, a family run Silversmiths in London then. His designs can be found across Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, Harrods and the great flagship store located on Fullham Road London.

To be honest I am not a very big fan of jewellery but these 5 skull rings juxtaposed really make me thrilled with joy. what irresistible pieces !

18 carat yellow gold skull ring. Hand engraved skull with red enamel and carved snake

Made from several types of gold, coral and mammoth bone to diamond pave settings. ( this should go to V&A than coming onto the market for the phrase " mammoth bone")

"Marian" is made from exquisitely carved Opal, set in hand sculptured and deep engraved 18 carat Yellow Gold. She may not be as fair a maiden as Robin's girlfriend but she was considerably more difficult to make. This is a sensational ring and one very few people could have crafted.

"Yorick with crown from £295"

£10,500 - sold out :D

For the gal: this pair of rubelite drop earring are worth £9,800. Would you ever thought spending nearly 10 grand of sterling pounds for earring instead of a car or something bigger practically ?

I think Theo Fennel himself was aware of his unaffordable pricing therefore last year October 2010 the man launched his silver designs ALIAS range ( but not "Alien" at all :D ). The collection was designed to be accesible for wider audience whilst maintaining the utmost originality of design and quality of craftsmanship which is synonymous with the brand

Polished silver ring with 2 potent symbol of life and death - $450

White diamond and ruby skull ring for £13,200

Ruby devil earring - £ 1650

Black diamond skull earring £ 2,200

Lost Flyer :D

Yellow Gold Maharaja Skull Ring £2,800

Yellow sapphire or black diamond, you could have one to match everything. Price ranges from £4,000 to £5,000 depending on the stone you choose

A piece from Emeralds for Elephants collection was showcased in Selfridges.

My eyes apparently want to drop out of my head and my head really wants to turn skull right now after being addicted and sitting with these skulls four hours :D :D Hope you have a lovely weekend with my post and amazing "Adele's Promise This cover"

My Costume Institute Gala's top pick

When the most outstanding event of the year Royal Wedding just calms down a little bit it's time to turn your attention to the Costume Institute Gala. At a glance, Alexander McQueen & Stella McCartney's designs seem like a very wise choice for most of celebrity plus colour nude - I just wonder will this palette take the lead of this trend again ? . Look how stunning they are ..

Somewhere only we know

I'd made my mind up for a summer shoot of where I lived and what I was inspired around me such as sunshine, glitter, brilliance in which you will see a lot throughout my album. It was somehow delayed over and over from model casting, photographer enquiry and also outfit's selection. A bunch of breakdown but nothing can defer my plan any more, that's why we should stop the piece of " Dupli-Cate & Will-I-am" Wedding gossip to go back to the summery present, take a glimpse of my latest album in the year. Hope the lad and lassie can grab something apart from the sunset lighting and bronzer here to cool down the heat a little bit more. Enjoy :D :D :D

Edita - yet another Xfactor rising talent

Just found out the video The Key by Edita. Her Video is kind of the same inspiration as which i'm chasing for my upcoming summer-theme photo shoots Glitter, Shimmer, Twilight and Brilliancy

A little about her :
Full name Edita Abdiski, 27 years old Switzerland-born singer who shot to fame for triumphing the Xfactor Germany version 2010.

I really adore her powerful voice and this reminds me of Leona Lewis and Alexander Burke somehow, have scanned throughout her album which released in 2011, besides The Key I also like The best thing about me is you featuring Ricky Martin :-X and Nothing's changed !!!

You got the key
The key to love
The key to live that special life
The key to learn
A key to turn
To turn your life around

You try to fall
To find what you coudn't find
It was always there
But you're somehow blinded

Now you see
Now you see
Now you see
You got the key

Isn't it fascinating ???? Enjoy it guys

My Corner

Since I popped into my current course at Northumbria, my shopping manner was totally changed. It's not that because I have no time to shop "off-line" but I find shopping online more interesting, easier, more convenient and save me a bunch of time too. Remember last year when my gossip friends talk about shopping online, I just wondered can we call shopping a fun if we shop without touching, seeing and trying on? What's the point of spending money over the internet rather than experience in reality ?

I assumed they were maniac but I gotta admit I am now more maniac than them as I become an online shopaholic more than ever. Indeed, if we 've got a particular aesthetic, seize our silhouette, know our actual size (though each fashion brand has slightly different size chart) then shopping online just takes us 1 step closer to be an authentic shoppaholic.

My Corner is not about what I am talking about myself, but a shopping website that I just discovered last week as one of my favorite shopping destination and wanna share everyone my experience.

Thecorner.com is powered by Yoox Group ( also a fashion online wholesale/retailer but I would call it an online outlet instead for their constant last-season stock). If you can grab a bargain for various cutting edge designer stuff on Yoox then Theconrner.com featured high-end fashion through their online boutique with selectively latest goods. Designers such as Ann Demeulemeester, Rick Owen, Damir Domar, Haider Ackerman, Dries Van Noten, Z Zegna and Santoni all choose Thecorner.com as their official internet retailing partner.

Apart from that, customers can also find boundless current news about fashion shoots, video and short films have been curated exclusively by some of the world's most avant-garde creative minds including Hdi Slimane, nick Knight and my beloved Nicola Formichetti.

My observation is Thecorner.com seems to be in extreme tough competition with

-Herviabazzar.com
-Oki-ni.com
-Ln-cc.com
-Antonioli.eu
-Endclothing.co.uk

The Print & Pattern Revolution

I heard about this brand quite a long time ago since they had not debuted their menswear FW 2010 collection at London Fashion Show via a friend. As for me, Agape Mdumulla and Sam Cotton successfully convey an influence, absolutely fresh look to young fashionisto by their trademark bespoke hilarious print and fascinating design that they believe " Fashion should never be taken too seriously".

I just got in touch with them immediately after staring their collection as i thought this is exactly what I am looking for and being fond of right at first sight. If fashion nowadays partly described inspired by what you are looking at the media, entertainer, your certain idol or fav celebrity then, Agi & Sam assume a role of bringing fashion out a humor !!!!

These are 3 pieces in Spring Summer Collection 2011 ( the Jackets and mid-length Jumper) that I am so obsessed with and will definitely go for when they announce their stockists

Born This Way

My second post also second Title initialed by "B", is it contrived on purpose or accidently ? Whatever as B doesn't stand for anything from my name. :)) Although it's almost midnight now plus I just wrote my first post 30 minutes ago therefore i'm not really in the mood to put down anything else here. But, I just re-watched the Video Born this Way by Lady Gaga which just out yesterday and found something in this abstract Video quite interesting so far :

1.Skull make-up
2.Pink Wig
3.Black - Masculine Tuxedo
4 Phoney Horn
5 etc ..

All those things sounds irrelevant were matched up perfectly for her own identity look as well as the Video itself. Just re watch over and over again and wonder what inspired Nicola Formichetti to created that look perfectly !! Beside that, you can take a look at Thierry Mugler's new collection  A/W 2011 featuring Lady Gaga as a model as well as her so-called new hit Government Hooker after single Born this way.
